Ben Pettella Image

Ben Pettella

  • Ben has 23 years experience in accounting, business and information technology. He has consulted with small, midsized and large organizations, in the private sector, and at the municipal and provincial government level.
  • Ben's areas of expertise include IT service management consulting, project management, business management consulting, accounting and income tax preparation.
  • Ben has been a key member of several IT management teams where his responsibilities included development of IT strategies, business plans, and technology direction, as well as defining, implementing and launching new information technology initiatives.
  • Ben has experience in ITSM using the ITIL framework, and is ITIL Foundations certified. Ben has developed a thorough understanding of approaches to change IM/IT organizational culture and demonstrate the value of IT using a practical, business-oriented approach.
  • Ben's project management and consulting experience has been across a broad spectrum of information technology, information management and business management.

Anne Conlin

  • Anne has a background in the health field as a strategic planner, hospital administrator, health care planner, researcher and facilitator.
  • Anne has managed numerous hospital departments in a unionized environment.  She has managed over 150 staff members in nine different clinical laboratories including cardiology, respiratory therapy and neurology.   
  • Anne has extensive experience working with physicians, medical specialists, health care providers, community, government and university representatives and stakeholder groups.
  • Anne has facilitated the development of strategic plans for numerous health initiatives.
  • Anne has experience working in public health, the Ministry of Health, the hospital sector as well as the private health care sector.
  • Anne has been involved with community health organizations at the local (Metropolitan Toronto) and national levels.  She has been on steering and planning committees in the area of health promotion, heart health, HIV and long term care.    
  • Anne was involved in the start up of a private sector health company.  She worked with the executive team in the area of clinical services and quality management. 
  • Anne has also facilitated the development of business plans for a start up company in the information technology area.
  • Anne is pleased to offer service to her clients in English, French and Italian.
  • Anne has an undergraduate degree and Master’s of Science in Health Sciences, from the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Dan Mante

  • Dan has 20 years experience in information technology. He has consulted with small, midsized and large organizations in the private sector.
  • Dan's experience includes IT support, desktop refresh and server consolidation, project management, service management consulting, strategic plans and business case development.
  • Dan has led several IT design and implementation teams where his responsibilities included development of IT strategies, business plans, and technology initiatives.
  • Dan's project management and consulting experience has been across most areas of information technology and information management.
  • Dan is an exceptional leader who advocates a strong team spirit, and fosters an attitude of cooperation among team members, both within and outside of IT, in order to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Dan has a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma from the University of Greenwich, in London, England, and an Electronic Engineering Technology Diploma from the DeVry Institute of Technology, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

David Bitonti

  • David is an Ontario Certified Teacher.  Before returning to school in 2008 to obtain his teaching degree, David worked as an information technologist within the field of education.  His assignments were to support and maintain web and office applications including facilitating training sessions for teachers and administrative staff. 
  • David has over 7 years of hands-on experience in the technology field and is ITIL Foundations certified in IT service management.
  • David has expertise in providing hands-on training in a variety of computer operating systems and software applications including educational and business systems.  David has the ability to engage and motivate his participants and prides himself on providing an enthusiastic approach to make the education and training environment more efficient and manageable for all levels of proficiency.
  • David also has experience in economic development, working with FedNor focusing on small business and community development.  His responsibilities included creation of employment through funding for community economic development initiatives and special projects; as well as providing financial assistance, counselling, training and advisory services to small businesses.
  • David has a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.Ed. from Nipissing University, in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Guy Richer

Guy Richer

  • Guy is a Human Resources expert. He is a management, organization development, training, education and employee engagement consultant who specializes in human resources issues to create forward thinking workplaces. Guy is also a professional facilitator, speaker, and trainer.
  • Guy is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO).
  • Guy has been working in an HR capacity since 1993 and has consulted with small, midsized and large organizations and facilitated many training and planning sessions.
  • Guy has worked as an HR Recruiter, a training manager, an organization development consultant, and an employee engagement consultant. Currently, as a HR consultant, Guy works with the Northeast Mental Health Centre and other clients on a fee for service agreement.
  • Guy has a Certificate in Human Resources Management as well as a Certificate in Business Management. After returning to school in 2007 Guy has been working towards completing his designation as a CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional).

Renee Johnstone

  • Renee has a background in the health field as a health promoter, exercise therapist, kinesiologist, and sessional instructor. 
  • Renee has managed projects geared to educate clients, staff, and students. She has also taught educational courses at the university and community college levels.  Renee has further experience in administration and finance.
  • Renee has worked on various research projects throughout her undergraduate and master's degree and with various companies in the health field. 
  • Renee has been involved in many project developments in health, cardiac rehab, exercise, biotechnology, silviculture, occupational health & safety and ISO 9002.  Such projects include:
    • the development of regional cardiac rehab sites
    • educational sessions for clients, staff, and management
    • clinics
    • quality improvement collaboratives and data collection
    • ISO 9002 certification/accreditation
    • development of company policies and procedures
    • training programs for project managers
    • development of hiring committees
  • Renee has worked with many community partners including hospitals, health units, universities, the District Stroke Program (North Bay), the Ontario Early Years Centre, the Arthritis Society, and the Cancer Society.
  • Renee has an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and a Master's of Science in Sports Science from Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Robert Silveri

  • As a secondary school teacher, university professor and department chairperson, Robert Silveri has spent his career training professionals in both personal and professional development. 
  • Robert has lead many different project groups, including the professional development of staff through the use of human resource initiatives.  These initiatives include the marketing of the specific strengths of each employee, the products they create and their overall business plan. 
  • Robert’s depth of involvement in project management inspired him to create his own consulting firm ‘Silveri Solutions’ in 2009.  Silveri Solutions has assisted businesses and clients alike to solidify vision modeling strategies for improving the overall needs of their current clients, while mapping out strategies to seek new customers. 
  • Robert has had a great deal of success creating business models for clients whose long term goals included applying for and securing government funding made available to specific groups whose business plan included social programming used to serve the public.
  • The structure of each business practice model used by Robert includes:
    • the creation of a long term vision/plan, which involves the marketing of the current strengths of the organization, including staff
    • the promotion of current philosophies and business practices
    • the professional training of staff and the enhancement of their current skills
    • and a strategy used to secure new clients, including governmental organizations.
  • Robert has a Honours B.A. from Laurentian University, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; a B.Ed. from Queen's University, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada; and a M.Ed. from Nipissing University, in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
